The importance of getting a good Internship can not be compared to anything else. An internship at a good company gives you 2 months to impress your prospective employer. Compare that to a typical interview where you get less than 20 minutes. Also internship at a top notch company is an important bullet point to include in your final resume.

Unfortunately you are not the only one who realizes the importance of a good internship. That means there is a fierce competition for the best internship oppurtunities. Companies do not have enough time to interview all candidates. So what do they do? They reject a majority of people based on their resume for internship alone!!!!! Obviously you need a great resume to get those internship interviews.

• Take the hard route i.e pick up the image result for "sample internship resumes" and then ask a DTP guy to create the format for you on word. This is the more difficult path and hence less people use it.
